About Dr. Brandi Tanner
Dr. Brandi Tanner, Founder and CEO of Your IEP Source, is on a mission to simplify the special education system and IEP process so every child can access the support they need.
Unlike many special education experts, Dr. Brandi is also a psychologist with decades of experience—and she’s seen the IEP process from every angle. As a family member, special educator, school psychologist, private practice psychologist, and advocate, she’s been in every seat at the IEP table, helping students get the best outcomes.
With a Master’s Degree in Special Education, a Ph.D. in School Psychology, and decades of experience in schools and private practice, she knows the system inside and out and uses her expertise to foster good working relationships between parents and schools.
Her commitment is deeply personal and has been since high school when she advocated alongside her parents to ensure her brother with autism had access to appropriate services. Those experiences drove her career path—and they’re why she’s so deeply invested in her clients’ outcomes.
Now Dr. Brandi is bringing her expertise to even larger stages—including national conferences, specialized workshops, and public seminars—with a single goal in mind, ensuring that families, clinicians, and educators have the tools to help every child thrive.
